In this eleventh edition of the Stay Classick event we got a little wet. In my walkaround I did mention that it is understandable why people would not want to drive their project cars on the rain. However, it only makes it more special to see who came out and showed support regardless of the weather. And for that same reason, THANK YOU for making it out.
We camped at the front of the entrance for a bit and we were able to capture a couple of friendly faces like Drew and his awesome coupe. JunkiesCrew was in attendance.
Our buddy Ricky came out in his EM1 from Bakersfield, CA! For those that do not know, that is a solid 3hr plus away from the event. He mentioned they caught some thick fog in the grapevine. Race car or not, driving through the grapevine in those conditions is really dangerous. I am glad he made it to the event safe.
Ricky came out with our buddy Moi who also resides in the Bakersfield area. So cool to see people come out from far to show support. Moi decided to bring out his daily driver Honda Fit as his beautiful Accord has some small bugs that need to be fixed. This Honda Fit looks so proper with the simple additions he has done.
This Sedan EF came out full of joy of the season. It was one of the earliest cars to show up to the event. It looks very nice and I am glad that this 80s bucket still going strong in the year 2022..
Our buddy Chad also known as @dobler on IG. I love the simplicity of this car. Every time I see it I say the same thing, "leave as is." Such rad car and the humble owner sure helps.
Keep it simple was the lesson and Chad passed the test.
Speaking of keeping it simple not so simple is Eric. This hatch goes though different looks and they are all great. One after another the car keeps getting better and better. This latest version is a simple one with less aggressive wheels and front end from his previous. He did mentioned that there is another look coming up shortly.
Daniels Kswap Ek looks very proper with his latest set of wheels. He has made some minor changes on the car the past few months but his current set up is great.
Matt's EF always manages to make it out to events regardless of the distance. Super cool to see how reliable his H22 swapped car is. Keep it up brotha.
I was not sure on what the best way to approach a rainy morning. I knew I wanted to get some pictures of people rolling in. After moving my e30 a million and one ways to see if I could take pictures from the car to avoid my camera from the rain. I quickly realized that there was no easy way. So, I stood outside holding my umbrella with one hand and taking pictures with the other. Aside from stepping on a water pothole, I can say that it went smooth.
Speaking of commuting far for the event. This is Hernandez who joined us from Arizona. State line away in his beautiful Prelude.
Team NvUS rolled in to the event many cars deep! Our buddy from Anaheim and his slammed coupe!
I know how much you all loved Merle's CRV. It is just so so so good!! Merle joined us from San Diego, Califas. A good two hour plus drive.
So many amazing rides that I did not know where to look. I am sure I will try to do a part two of this coverage as I really enjoy the way the picture show up on the blog lol Let us take a look at some of the cars hard parked.
Our buddes from FittedTho came thru with some awesome cars. A couple that I was able to capture was this slammed coupe and sedan. I absolutely love how they all came in like power rangers. FTF has been super supportive and I cannot wait to continue to attend their own events.
We also got to see Royce's beautiful EG! I did not know it was K series now. It was mostly drizzling while I attended so he was not able to pop his hood. However, he won a well deserved award and the car deserves it.
Simple TSX. What can I say, I love these specific chassis.
Oh yea, I also fell in love with this beautiful M3. The gentleman is serving in the NAVY and was in town from Texas. Thank you for your service and I appreciate you making the effort to stop by. Say hello to your bro in law from my end.
This will be the coverage for now. It gets tiring having to email pictures back and forth to edit them lol Yes, I will be investing on computer editing software. Thank you all for the continue support. #automotiveanatomy
Digging the blog Gus!! I love how you stuck it out in the rain. Thank you for always providing coverage!!
