Hello everyone, we ended up attending an awesome car event at the Brekkie Car Club HQ in the heart of Los Angeles. I knew I was going to be seen a few widebody exotics but I was not there for those. I was there for the 80 and 90s builds that grabbed my attention at the SEMA coverage from people who attended in person. Well, those older builds did not disappoint. I fell in love with the old school Porsche, Kswap Benz, and other cool cars that made an appearance.
One of the very first builds that grabbed my attention was this awesome Corolla AE86 with his new wheel set up. This build had some Work wheels but now is sitting nicely with this Watanabe wheels. This Corolla has looked very similar for many years and I believe the owner has nailed it. I would not change a thing.
Right next to the gold Corolla, this Corolla with the LEVIN front end sat on work wheels. Absolutely beautiful build. Again, this are the cars that completely inspire me to continue to save and own a cool car like this. I want my Porsche but I would not mind an AE86 Corolla, but it would have to be pop up headlights for me.
One of the main highlights from the event was this 1000hp old-school truck. Yes, 1000hp lol I wanted to focus the attention of the truck with this shot while having the rear end of the evasive motorsport hill climb Tesla Build peaking in the front. Crazy to see the evolution of the automotive world.
A couple turbos slapped together on this tube chassis truck and a serious cockpit to handle all the power. The build has been around for a bit but this was my very first time seen this build. I am glad I was able to see this project in person. So much custom work and hours have been put in to the build.
Interesting to see the change from the 1000hp truck to this Tesla hill climb monster. I legit like electric cars and the design that Tesla's have, but I am not sure if I would ever purchase one myself. I do like the fact that Evasive Motorsport took the tesla as the platform they wanted to use. You can see the splitter made by RS Future peaking in the front sitting very nicely.
A couple of older cars making their presence be known. I love boxy cars and the dedication that automotive designers delivered back in those days. Most of our cars are cookie cutters now at day but it is always nice to see the older cars still be driven.
Speaking of boxy older cars? This awesome widebody BMW was one of my favorites. The livery on these BMWs are amazing. I would not mind a widebody car in my future, but I am not sure what car I would want to go with as a widebody build.
Talk about old-school lol Mike from Stanceworks brought out his awesome Ford Truck that he has been building for a couple of years. I am blessed to be very close to Mike's shop in Costa Mesa, CA. I have been able to see this project in different stages. Now, I know it is not longer named Stanceworks but I like to remember him with that name.
I loved how low this NSW was sitting on those Mugen MF wheels. Something about yellow cars though...maybe I will do a widebody yellow or orange build. Every time I go to this events I get a bunch of ideas lol Now I just need the money lol
As I was leaving I came across these two awesome builds. They are both AWD, widebody, and awesome handling machines. The Subaru is a wrx but it looks nice with the varis widebody. As for the EVO? Well, that thing is absolutely nuts. Love how aggressive the car is. I wonder what it is like to drive a car like this on the road. So many broken necks for automotive and non automotive enthusiast. Great to see.
Thank you all for tuning in to my coverage and thoughts of this awesome cars and coffee event. Nothing beats automotive functions in Los Angeles, CA! #automotiveanatomy
